Brett Marble Chunky (shown in MC 19 “Plum Mix") Needles and Notions: 9mm (US 13) Circular Needle 10mm (US 15) Circular needle (optional) Tapestry needle or Crochet Hook for finishing Gauge is not important for this project. Notes: For this pattern, slip the first stitch of every row. Make sure you loosen the first stitch Row 1 of the drop-stitch pattern so that it is in keeping with the rest of the row. Abbreviations & Definitions CO: Cast on k: Knit st: stitch sts: stitches BO: Bind off Garter Stitch: Knit every row.

Instructions

CO 120sts loosely (or use larger needle) Work 9 rows in Garter Stitch (knit every stitch).

Begin Drop-Stitch Pattern:

1: Sl1, (K wrapping yarn around needle twice before pulling through) to last st., K1. 2: K row, dropping extra loops. 3: Work 4 rows in Garter Stitch Repeat 1-3 until blanket is approximately 130cm long (gently stretched), (about 27 repeats of the Drop-Stitch pattern) or until piece is approximately 4cm short of desired length. Work 4 more rows in Garter Stitch. BO loosely, weave in ends.
