MATERIALS NEEDED:
Yarn: 465yards or more of Aran or Worsted Weight yarn. (Amount depends on how long you want the scarf.) Suggested: Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool Yarn - 1 skein of Natural or Oatmeal color. (l used the entire skein and got a scarf approx. 5 ft 11inches long.) Needles: US size 9 straight needles. Row Counter Cable Needle Darning Needle Stitch Markers (optional)
GAUGE:
It's a scarf, so I don't have a gauge.

ABBREVIATIONS:
K - Knit P -Purl WS/RS - Wrong Side/Right Side pm/sm - Place Marker/Slip Marker (Optional. I liked to separate the Chevron pattern from the cables on either side) CF4 - Place two sts on a cable needle, hold in front. Knit two sts from the left needle. Knit the two sts on the cable needle. CF6 - Place three sts on a cable needle, hold in front. Knit three sts from the left needle. Knit three sts on the cable needle.
