Please let me know if you find an error, this is one of those spur of the moment designs, and I didn't write things down as I went, but waited until I had finished the square!! G Hook, worsted weight yarn in 2 colours I used Red Heart A=variegated (bikini, if I remember correctly!) and B=teal Special Stitches: dtr; yo three times, insert hook in stitch, pull up loop, yo, pull through two loops 4 times. FPDC: yo, insert hook around post of stitch from front to back, continue as normal dc. BPDC: yo, insert hook around post of stitch from back to front, continue as normal dc. FPTR: yo twice, insert hook around post of stitch from front to back, continue as normal tr. With colour A, ch 4, sl st to form ring. Rnd 1: ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join to first sc. Rnd 2: ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch1), (dc, ch1) in each st around, join in 3rd ch of ch4. Rnd 3: ch 4. ( Dc,ch1) in each space and st around. Join in 3rd ch. Rnd 4: ch3, FPDC around same st. Ch 1. (DC, FPDC around same st, ch 1) in each dc around. Join to top of ch 3. Rnd 5: ch4(counts as tr) FPTR around FPDC of rnd 4. BPTR around each dc, FPTR around each FPDC around. End with FPTR, join to top of ch 4. Rnd 6: ch4=dc +ch1. Dc in next 2 sts, ch1 around. Join to 3rd ch of ch 4. Rnd 7: This round is worked in the ch1 spaces. Ch4 =tr. (2tr, ch1, 3tr) in space [corner made]. \* (Ch2, dc in ch1 space) two times. Ch 2, hdc in next space. (Ch2, dc in next space) twice, Ch 2, (3tr, ch1, 3tr) in next space. Repeat from \* around, ending with (ch2, dc in next space) twice, ch 2. Join to top of ch4. FO colour A. Rnd 8: Note: When working the dtr, work behind the chs of rnd 7. Join colour B with sl st in any space of corner. Ch 3, 4 dc in same space. Dc in 3 tr, dtr in skipped sts of rnd 7. Dc in each tr, dc and hdc, work dtr in each skipped stitch of rnd 7 around, working 5 dc in each corner space. Join to top of ch3. Rnd 9: Ch 4=dc+ch1. \* (Dc, ch2,dc) in 3rd dc of corner. Ch1, skip 1st, dc in next, ch 1, skip 1 st, to next corner. Repeat from \* around. Join to 3rd ch of beg ch. FO colour B. Rnd 10: Join colour A in any corner stitch. NOTE: dtr again are worked behind chs of previous round. Ch 3, 2 dc in same space. Work dc in each dc, dtr in each skipped stitch of rnd 9, working 3 dc in each corner space. Join to top of ch3. FO colour A. Rnd 11: Join colour B in any stitch. Ch 3, dc in each stitch around, working 2dc, ch1, 2dc in each corner st. Join to top of ch 3, FO, weave in ends. If necessary, repeat rnd 11, using sc or dc.
