REDNOSE
Using Rowan Pure Wool DK cast on 7 sts. Row 1( Rs): Inc in every st to last st, K1. 13 sts. Row 2: Purl. Row 3: (K1, inc in next st) rep to last st, K1. 19 sts. Row 4: Purl. Row 5: (K1, inc in next st) rep to last st, K1. 28 sts. Rows 6-12: Beg with a P row, work 7 rows in st st, ending with RS facing for next row. Row 13: (K1, K2tog) rep to last st, K1. 19 sts. Row 14: Purl. Row 15: (K1, K2tog) rep to last st, K1. 13 sts. Row 16: Purl. Row 17: K2 tog to last st, K1. 7 sts. Break off yarn and thread through rem 7 sts and fasten off Sew up seam and stuff until you have a nice plump red nose.
PETALS
Using your chosen Rowan Kidsilk Haze colour cast on 7 sts. Row 1 (RS): Inc in every st to last st, K1. 13 sts.. Row 2 and every foll alt row: Purl. Row 3: Inc in every st to last st, K1. 25 sts. Row 5: Inc in every st. 50 sts. Row 7: Inc in every st. 100 sts. Beg with a P row, work 9 rows in st st, ending with Rs facing for next row. Row 17: K2tog to end. 50 sts. Row 19: K2tog to end. 25 sts. Row 21: K2 tog to last st, K1. 13 sts. Row 23: K2 tog to last st, K1. 7 sts. Cast off. Bring sides of work together and sew to complete the petal.
LEAF (make 2)
Using 2 strands of shade 645 Garden or any other Rowan Kidsilk Haze Green cast on 3 sts. Row 1 (RS): K1, M1, K1, M1, K1. 5 sts. Row 2 and every foll alt row: Knit. Row 3: K2, M1, K1, M1, K2. 7 sts. Row 5: K3, M1, K1, M1, K3. 9 sts. Row 7: K4, M1, K1, M1, K4. 11 stS Work 3 rows in g st. Row 11: K2 tog, K7, K2 tog. 9 sts. Work 3 rows in g st. Row 15: K2 tog, K5, K2tog. 7 sts. Work 3 rows in g st. Row 19: K2 tog, K3, K2tog. 5 sts. Work 3 rows in g st. Row 23: K2 tog, K1, K2 tog. 3 sts. Row 24: K3 tog and fasten off.
TO MAKE UP
Tease out the ruffle and stitch red nose in place in the middle. Place the two leaves at a jaunty angle and sew to the back of the flower. Attach a safety pin and wear with pride. Thank you for your support
