Super Simple Slightly Smaller Stocking
Materials: Size 7 or 8 or 9 straight knitting needles (I knit tightly, so I used a size 9 needle) Worsted weight yarn in two colors--this stocking is started at the bottom, so you will want a main color and then a contrasting color for the top inch or so. Cast on 18 st. Finishing: Seam side and bottom. Weave in ends. Optional: Attach a short length of yarn at top of seam for a hanger. If you are new to knitting, KFB means knit in the front and the back of the stitch. This is an increase of 1 stitch.
