One size fits most. Yarn: 1 skein Caron Simply Soft -OR- Lion Wool Ease Worsted -OR- Patons Décor -OR- Bernat Softee Chunky -OR- Mission Falls 1824 Merino Superwash -OR- Cascade 220 Superwash -OR- Dark Horse Fantasy OR Rhapsody -OR- Noro Aurora Gauge: 5 stitches/inch on size US 7 (4.5mm) double pointed needles 1. Cast on 37 stitches and spread out over 3 DPS's(12 sts on $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ and $2^{\mathsf{n d}}$ needle, 13 sts on $3^{\mathsf{r d}}$ needle)

2. Join (be sure stitches are not twisted), move last stitch from $3^{\mathrm{rd}}$ needle to $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ needle. Knit that stitch together with the one next to it (on the $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ needle) to securely connect the stitches to form the round. 3. Mark beginning of round. 4. Continue in K1P1 ribbing (beginning now with a purl because the K2tog in #2 was the first knitted stitch in the pattern repeat) for 9 rounds. 5. Beginning with Round 10, work 8 Rounds in stockinette stitch. 6. Making the thumb hole. - Because you are working the round, when you turn the work, you will be working on the inside of the tube. Turn the work. Slip the first stitch. P35. 7. Turn. Slip the first stitch. K35. Repeat #s 6 & 7 for 13 rounds, ending on a purl round. 8. Turn. Slip the first stitch. K35. Re-join to begin working in the round again. 9. Knit in stockinette for 12 rounds. 10.At the beginning of the next round increase in the first stitch using the “Raised" or "Row-Below" increase. (With the stitch you are going to increase into in the active position on the left needle, use the right needle to pick up the stitch directly below the active stitch and place it onto the left needle, putting it into the active position. Knit into it and drop it from the left needle as usual.) K36 to finish round. 11. Knit 12 more rounds in stockinette. Each round should now have 37 stitches. 12.At the beginning of the next round increase in the first stitch using the “Raised" or "Row-Below" increase. K37 to finish round. 13.Knit 16 more rounds in stockinette. Each round should now have 38 stitches. 14. Knit 9 rounds in K1P1 ribbing. 15. Bind off in pattern. Weave in ends.
