Gauge: 20st/4"in Stockinette Stitch on bigger needles Notions: Stitch Marker, yarn needle, cable needle, dinner plate (for blocking)

Abbreviations

C8C: slip 6 onto cable needle, hold in front, p2, still holding cable needle in front, slip first 2 st. from cable needle onto left needle, hold cable needle in front, k4 from cable needle, p2 from left needle. For a demonstration of this cable visit : m1: make one stitch
Brim
With smaller needles, cast on 100 st. Place marker, join without twisting. Begin twisted rib: \*ktbl, p1\* around for 10 rounds Increase round: \*k4, m1\* around (125 st) Switch to larger needles.
Body and Crown

Begin Amphitryon Pattern. (Read all rows right to left) Switch to DPNs when necessary. After round 44, Cut yarn, leaving a 8" tail. Using yarn needle, thread tail through remaining stitches. Weave in ends. Block over dinner plate.
