Horseshoe Lace Cowl Design by Johanna DiStefano

Some people (including myself) believe that a horseshoe, when kept as a talisman, invites good luck. When the ends of the horseshoe point upwards, then it is believed that the talisman collects any good energy with which it comes into contact. On the other hand, there are those who believe that when the ends of the horseshoe point down, then all its luck will be released to those around it. Up or down, having a horseshoe talisman is a pretty good idea. Create some horseshoe luck with this pretty little horseshoe lace cowl, and feel free to wear it up or down depending on whether you need the luck or you are wishing luck to your loved ones. About the designer

The mountains that surround me in Denver, Colorado inspire most of my designs. Although I love to be outside any chance I can get, I also love sitting down with some needles, a ball of yarn, and my two Chihuahuas and seeing what kind of magic unfolds.
