This design came about because I was looking for a good, basic cowl that didn't fit too tightly, wasn't too difficult, and was going to be useful for both men and women.C hadn't planned to design my own! Using ta washable worsted/aranweight yarn, the cowl is knit with ribs, knit rows and purl rows - sitting nicely around the neck without strangling the clothes (or neck) underneath. The wristwarmers are perfect for keeping warm when you have to wear a suit jacket or fancy dress and use up the rest of the yarn. A good, basic pattern! Page 1 of 3
