CO 99 sts with 3.5 mm needles and work: Rows 1, 3 and 5: K Rows 2, 4 and 6: K1, K2tog, K2, repeat \*M1R, K1, M1L, K2, SK2P, K2\* altogether 11 times, M1R, K1, M1L, K2tog, K1. Row 7: Continue working with the Gothic lace chart from Stanfield & Griffiths book The Encyclopedia of Knitting. Knit the edge sts K1 on RS and P1 on WS. Change needles to 3 mm after two motif repeats and to 2.5 mm needles after altogether four motif repeats. After altogether 5.5 motif repeats continue in stockinette and decrease 16 sts evenly during first row. You have now 83 sts. When the back measures 28 cm work: K4, \*double yo, SK2P, double yo, K5\*, repeat \*-\* 9 times, double yo, SK2P, double yo, K4. Following row: P4, \*yo and slip previous double yo, P1, yo and slip previous double yo, P5\*, repeat \*-\* 9 times, yo and slip previous double yo, P1, yo and slip previous double yo, P4. FRONT
Work like back piece until it measures 34 cm. The bust is shaped with short rows as follows: work pattern until 5 sts before the edge, W&T and continue pattern until 5 sts before the edge, W&T. Repeat \*work pattern until 4 sts before previous turn and W&T\* altogether 8 times. Continue in pattern and K/P sts together with the wrapped sts, Work in pattern until the piece measures 37 cm. B0 from both edges every 2nd row: 1 x8 sts, 1 x2 sts and 1 x 1 st. Leave the rest 63 sts to wait for the raglan yoke.
SLEEVES
CO 75 sts with 2.5 mm needles and work K1, P1 -rib for 2 cm. Continue in pattern and B0 8 sts from the right edge and 5 sts from the left edge. Continue to BO from both edges on every 2nd row: 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st. Leave the rest 56 sts to wait for the raglan yoke and make the other sleeve as a mirror image.
RAGLAN YOKE
Join front, back and sleeves to the same circular needle to work in the round: edges with 8 st BOs opposite each other and edges with 5 st BOs opposite each other. Pm SM between pieces to mark the raglan seams. Continue working in pattern and decrease on both sides of SM on every 2nd row: 2 sts before SM, K2tog, sm and ssk. When the front measures 45 cm, B0 10 sts in the middle of front piece. Continue to BO from both edges of the neckline on every 2nd row: 1x5 sts, 1x2 sts, 7 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts and 4 x3 sts. When the back measures 47,5 cm, shape with short rows: [work in pattern until 4 sts before the edge, W&T, continue work in pattern until 4 sts before the edge, W&T. Repeat \*work in pattern until 4 sts before previous turn, W&T\* altogether 4 times.] Repeat [-] altogether 2 times. Pick up 69 more sts along the neckline and work in the round K1, P1 -rib for 2 cm. BO all sts, break yarn.
FINISHING
Block and steam lightly. Sew sleeve and side seams as well as the seam under the armpit. Weave in ends. Thread the satin ribbon through the eyelet line under the bust.
