Striped Fingerless Gloves
Materials: 1 skein each 220 sport colors A, B, C. sz 3 needles (either DPN or 32"+ for magic loop) Gauge: 6 sts = 1" Stripe Pattern Knit 2 rounds A Knit 2 rounds B Knit 2 rounds A Knit 2 rounds C PM= place marker, M1= Make 1, CO= cast on Cast on 48 sts using color A. Place a marker and join, being careful not to twist. Work in K2, P2 rib for 6 rows. Work in Stripe pattern until work measures 3 1/2" from cast on edge. Thumb Gusset: (continue working in stripe pattern) Round 1: K47, PM, M1, K1, M1 Round 2: Knit Round 3: Knit to marker, slip marker, M1, knit to marker, M1, slip marker Repeat rounds 2 & 3 until there are 19 sts between markers Next round: Knit to marker, remove marker, place 19 sts on scrap yarn, CO 1 st Continue working in strip pattern until work measures 7” from cast on edge Change to color A Knit 1 round Butterfly Yarns\*18 Albion St\* Wakefield, MA\* 781-246-956 For personal use only- please do not copy and distribute Work in K2, P2 rib for 6 rounds Bind off loosely

Place 19 sts from scrap yarn onto needles Using Color A Pick up and knit 3 sts where you previously cast on 1 st. K1 place a marker for beginning of round Round 1: Knit to last 5 sts , K2tog, K1, K2tog (you should now have 20 sts) Work in K2, P2 rib for 5 rounds Bind Off loosely Weave in ends Make another fingerless glove exactly like the first one.
