Aerie Inspired
On a recent shopping trip I spotted an adorable cozy cowl in the window of Aerie. Being a knitter, there is no satisfaction in purchasing a garment that has already been knit by someone else. So, I opted to count the stitches and recreate the cowl myself. The original cowl was knit flat and seamed. I opted to work the cowl seamlessly in the round. A single ply bulky or chunky yarn will work best for this project. It is meant to be drapey. My prototype (in photos) was knit on US 13 needles. I will knit my next cowl on Us 15 needles to get even more of a drape. These cowls work up quickly! They are perfect for holiday gift giving! \*Please note\* - This pattern is free and will remain free. I will not profit from it. The design credit goes to Aerie. I simply transcribed the pattern.
