Size: Adult female \~ 6.5" (16.5cm) circumference.
Materials:
Yarn: Universal Yarn/Uptown DK Colors; 100% Acrylic. 273yrds/250m/100g. Color #70309 /Bonfire - 1 skein. 2 Size Us7 (4.5mm) 16" (40cm) circular needles - 0r size needed to get gauge. Stitch markers: 2 Stitch holder: 1 (or scrap yarn). )cm) on size Us7 (4.5mm) needles; or size needed to get gauge.
PATTERN:
CO 32 sts. Divide sts evenly between the needles. Being careful not to twist sts around the needles join for working in rounds. Round l: \*kl, pl; rep from \* to end. Round 2: \*pl, kl; rep from \* to end. Repeat rounds 1 & 2 twice more - (6 rounds worked). Knit 22 rounds. Increase round: Kl3, pm, kf/b of next 2 sts, pm, k to end - (4 sts between markers). Knit 2 rounds. Inc round: K13, sm, kf/b, k2, kf/b, sm, k to end - (6 sts between markers). Knit 1 round Inc round: K13, sm, kf/b, k4, kf/b, sm, k to end - (8 sts between markers). Knit 2 rounds. Inc round: K13, sm, kf/b, k6, kf/b, sm, k to end - (10 sts between markers). Knit I round. Inc round: K13, sm, kf/b, k8, kf/b, sm, k to end - (12 sts between markers). Knit 2 rounds. Inc round: Kl3, sm, kf/b, kl0, kf/b, sm, k to end - (14 sts between markers). Knit 2 rounds. Inc round: K13, sm, Kf/b, kl2, Kf/b, sm, k to end - (16 sts between markers). Knit 2 rounds. Knit 11, kf/b, kl, rm, place 16 sts on stitch holder, rm, kl, kf/b, k to end - (you should be back to your original 32 sts). Knit 9 rounds. Continue as follows: \*K1, pl; rep from \* to end. \*P1, kl; rep from \* to end. Repeat last 2 rounds once more. BO in pattern. THUMB To work the thumb flat: Pick up the 16 sts from stitch holder. With RS facing; startinc with a knit row work in St st for 1". BO; leaving a long enough tail to seam up the thumb and close any holes at the base of the thumb. To work the thumb in the round: Pick up the 16 sts from stitch holder. Leave a long enough tail for closing up any holes at the base of the thumb. Divide sts evenly between 2 circular needles. Being careful not to twist the sts join for knitting in the round. Knit for I". BO Weave in all ends. Put on your gorgeous new fingerless gloves and go outside for a walk.
