Cable Panel
Using a provisional cast on and 9mm circs, C0 27 sts. Work cable chart, remembering to pm when beg leaf lace highlighted chart. FOR THE M/L size: Once you finish row 68, work 2 more rows in stockinette st. Place these sts on a holder. Carefully take sts off provisional cast on. FOR THE S/M SIZE: Beg at $3^{\mathsf{r d}}$ row, work the chart once more.

FOR THE M/L SIZE: Beg at $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ row, repeat rows 1 and 2 a total of three times. Continue with the chart. Once you finish row 68, work 2 more rows in stockinette st. FOR ALL SIZES: When you've completed the chart, graft these sts to the sts you placed on a holder from the other end of the cable panel.
Ribbing
Using 8 mm circs, pick up 3 of every 4 sts along the top edge of your "tube". Note: be careful when picking up sts along edge, that you pick them up from the very edge of the knit. If not, then you will get a bit of a "curi" along the seam between the ribbing and the "tube". S/M size: will have picked up approx. 100 sts. M/L size: will have picked up approx. 112 sts. Work these sts in 2x2 rib (this means that you may have to fudge how many sts you've picked up, to make sure it's divisible by 4). Work this ribbing for 3 (3.5)", and cast off in pattern. Repeat this ribbing for the opposite edge of the "tube".
