Traditional Norwegian Selbu Mittens Pattern for Kids (3-5 years) - Lizard Design

These mittens are knitted as traditional Norwegian mittens (Selbu mittens). The pattern offers the charts, and some notes, so if you're familiar with Selbu mittens, you should have no troubles making them. Size: 3-5 years Circumference: appr. 17 cm / 6 2/3 inches Length: 16,5 cm / 6 1/2 inches Gauge: 28 sts in stranded colorwork $=$ 10 cm / 4 inches Materials: Rauma finullgarn (Fingering / 4 ply) Ribbing: CO 32 sts, k2, p2 for about 5 cm (2 inches). Knit one round with MC, increasing 10 sts evenly on this round. Then follow the charts. For left mitten, read from right to left. For right mitten, read from left to right.
