Noosa Sunset Shawl
MATERIALS
$1\times100{\mathfrak{g m}}$ Malabrigo Sock Yarn $1\times4.5\mathsf{m m}$ circular knitting needle with 100cm cable Markers Wool Needle
NOTES
A simple, light shawl suitable for spring days and Summer nights. Wear it over the shoulders as a shawl or wrap it around your neck as a scarf.

METHOD
Cast on 3 sts and work 8 rows garter stitch. Turn work $45^{\circ}$ to the right and pick up 3sts along the edge. Turn work $45^{\circ}$ to the right again and pick up 3sts along the CO edge. 9sts in total. Setup Row. k2, yo, k2, pm, k1 (cs), pm, k2, yo, k2 (11sts). Row 1: k2, yo, kto m, slm, k1, slm, kto last 2sts, yo, k2. Rows 2 & 3: rep row 1. Row 4: k2, yo, kto m, yo, slm, k1, slm, yo, kto last 2sts, yo, k2 (21sts). Rep rows 1 - 4 another 26 times (281sts). Pattern Row 1: k2, yo, k1, \* yo twice, k1, rep from $^*$ to $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ m, slm, k1, slm, $\ast\,\mathsf{k1}_{\phantom{}}$ , yo twice, rep from \* to last 3sts, k1, yo, k2. Pattern Row 2: k2, yo, k1, $\ast_{S}|$ yos off needle, k1 rep from \* to $1^{\mathrm{st}}\,\mathfrak{m}_{\mathfrak{n}}$ slm, k1, slm, $^{\ast\ast}\mathrm{\kkl}.$ , sl yos off needle, rep from $^{**}$ to last 3sts, k1, yo, k2. Next row:k2, yo, kto m, slm, k1, slm, kto last 2sts, yo, k2. Rep this row once more. Rep Pattern rows 1 and 2 once more (293sts). Next row: k2, yo, kto m, slm, k1, slm, kto last 2sts, yo, k2. Rep this row 7 more times. Cast off loosely
FINISHING
Weave in ends. Block as desired. For a gentle semi-circle simply dampen the shawl and lay out flat to dry. For a shawl with a triangular shape dampen the shawl and pin out to dry.
