Stitchpattnis“Kigstour”as shwn inOmas Strickgehemnisse 2000edition),p. 167. It loedlike sailbts n th sunset to me. Size: $45^{\prime\prime}\log{\mathrm{x}}\,6^{\prime\prime}$ wide as shown. Gauge: Not important, but swatch to make sure you like the fabric you will get. Yarn: Requires about 200 yards of fingering weight yarn. I used $56\,\mathrm{g}$ of Sundara Sock. Needles: $\bar{3}.75\;\mathrm{mm}$ or to achieve fabric that pleases you. Cast on 40 stitches. Following chart, knit rows 1-23, then repeat rows 2-23 11 times or until $\sim\!2^{\prime\prime}$ from desired length, then repeat rows 2-22 and bind of knitwise on next row. Wet block, pinning out points as desired. Note that the patern repeat is a multiple of 12 (eg sts.3-14 are one repeat) with 2 ede stitches oneither side. You can add or subtractmultiples of 12 as you like, tochange thewidth of your piece.

Created in Knit Visualizer (www.knitfoundry.com) Odd numbered rows are read from right to left; even numbered rows are read left to right. To make one, I used a lifted bar increase. Note that the chart uses the same symbol for a stitch performed on either side of the fabric (e.g. an empty box is always a knit). Copyright 2008 by Saccade.
