Size -
Adult M - 20 inches unstretched Fits approximately 20-23 inch heads.
Needles --
US #8 Circular One set US #8 DPN's
Gauge -
18 sts = 4" on #8 needles in stockinette stitch

Yarn -
Worsted weight, approximately 60 yards of a MC solid, and 90 yards CC with color changes or stripes.
DIRECTIONS --
Ribbing
Abbreviations - MC -main color CC - contrast color K2 - knit 2 P1 -purl 1 K2tog - knit 2 together EOR - end of round rep - repeat Cast on 90 stitches using circular needle and MC (the solid color, as pictured). Join for working in the round, and place marker. Work in K2 P1 rib for 10 rounds. Body of Hat Knit one row MC Begin working chart from bottom right in stockinette; dots represent MC stitches, blank squares are CC stitches. There will be 3 repeats of the 30 stitch pattern around the hat.
