3 skeins super bulky yarn Ella Rae Melbourne 100 % cotton. Pictured in #15 (linen) and #13 (grey). Equipment One set size 13 US double pointed needles Tapestry needle Gauge: 2.5 stitches per inch

The links in the Loop De Loop are made separately, but linked together while you knit in the round. The tricky part is the linking. Here we go. Begin CO 26 Divide stitches onto 3 dpns. Knit 6 rows in the round and Bo. Weave in ends on knit side. Flip the link to purl side and it will curl in. This funky fashion forward scarf can be worn in every season. Super bulky Ella Rae Melbourne 1o0% cotton gives fantastic shape and weight to the scarf. I used yarn left over from another project and added bits of different colors to every other link. It's also great in a solid color. Be creative!
The next link is the same as the first. CO 26 stitches onto 3 dpns. Here's the tricky part, before connecting in the round, slide the 1st link into the center of the 2nd link.
Connect and knit 6 rows in the round (slide the first link along as you knit) and BO. Weave in ends on knit side and flip the link to purl side. Repeat making the chain links, making sure they are linked together, until you reach the desired length. 11 links are in the scarf shown. To close the last link, place both ends of chain into the last CO before connecting in the round. Knit 6 rows in round and BO. Weave in ends on knit side and flip the link to purl side.
