Rocking Chair Wrap

This lightweight wrap is perfect to drape over a rocking chair in a baby's nursery. Just the right wrap for mom or dad when only a spell in the rocking chair will keep the little one calm.
Materials
Size 19 needles 5 skeins Bernat Baby Blanket (100% polyester) Directions CO 39 stitches (createsfabric approximately 28"x 60" excluding fringe; VERY stretchy) Rows 1-3: Knit all stitches to create 3 rows/1 ridge of garter stitch. Row 4 (Ws): K1, purl the next 37 sts, K1 (K sts keep the edges from curling) Rows 5: K all sts NOTE: Rows 4-9 create a stockinette band Row 6: K1, purl the next 37 sts, K1 Row 7: K all sts Row 8: K1, purl the next 37 sts, K1 Row 9: K all sts Row 10-11: K all sts (1 garter stitch ridge) Row 12: \*K2 tog, yo\* across and end with K1. Rows 13-15: Knit all stitches (Starting with Row 16, you are now repeating Rows 4-15 for the pattern and will continue until the desire length.) 3 rows of garter stitch after the last row of eyelet sts and bind off. Make 15 fringe bundles for each end of the wrap. with single strand of yarn, wrap 6 times around the length of a DvD case and cut. Louis Chicquette chicquette@aol.com
