Super Mario Acorn Crochet Pattern
Super Mario Acorn Crochet Pattern
Materials:
25g Orange DK Yarn 25g White DK Yarn 25g Red DK Yarn 25g Beige DK Yarn Small amount of Black Yarn (for eyes) 3.5mm Crochet Hook Toy Stuffing Needle for sewing
Gauge:
Gauge is not important so long as you are using a hook size that will give you a tight stitch with your yarn, so the stuffing doesn't show through. Measurements: Size will depend on your hook size and gauge but my acorns are approximately 15cm/ 6" tall and 10cm/ 4" wide.
Notes:
This pattern uses American crochet terms The pattern is worked in the round. At the end of each round, slip stitch into the first stitch of the round to join, then chain 1.
Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet ch: chain FLO: working through the Front Loops Only of the stitch BLO: working through the Back Loops Only of the stitch sc2tog: work the next 2 stitches together to decrease rnd: round rep: repeat F/O: fasten off (break yarn and pull through last loop) When making the P-Acorn the whole of the head is done in white. When making the Super Acorn work as follows: 4 rnds in beige 4 rnds in red 4 rnds in beige 4 rnds in orange 5 rnds in beige
