Nintendo DS and DS lite sock
by Leah Bear For both the DS & the DS lite you will ned some scrap worsted weight yarn (I have no idea how much but it's not alot),asize 8 circular neede at least 24 inches long for magic loop, atapestry neede and a button. Gauge 14sts / 26 rows $=$ 4in in stockinette stitch Instructions for the DS lite are first and the regular DS are in parenthesis. Cast on 16, (18) stitches using the turkish cast on. Knit 35, (40) rounds in stst. You can make them stripey or not it all depends on what you want. To make the button band you knit 11 bind off 26, (knit 12 bind off 30). This will leave you with 6 stitches for the button band for each version. Knit 10 rows in stockinette stitch. The following row knit 2, bind off 2, knit 2. Next row, knit 2 cast on 2, knit 2. Knit 2 more rows of stockinette stitch and bind off all stitches. Finishing: Sew on your button, weave in all ends and your done!
