The model is made with a 64st co and fits ladies medium, small and large are in parentheses. Take into consideration that the small cable does pull in a bit.

Needle 1: Knit across heel flap. Then pick up and knit 15-19sts along side of heel. This depends on how many slip stitches you have along your heel flap. Make sure if you pick up 16 on one side you pick up the same on the other. Needle 2: Knit the instep stitches. See Note above. Needle 1: Pick up and knit 15-19sts across other side of heel flap. Knit remaining stitches to the end of needle 1. (See note below) Note: (2 circular needles only) you willbe using the needle point that you just got through picking up the other 17 gusset stitches with. You will be working over the instep needle so don't think you are doing anything wrong. Just let that instep needle hang there. Remember you only use needle 1 (heel needle) for the heel stitches. Needle 2: Knit across keeping in pattern Decrease Round: You now have all the heel stitches and gusset stitches on needle 1. Rnd 1: Needle 1: (Heel needle) - K1, SSK, work to last 3sts K2T, K1.
