This textured baby blanket begs to be reached out and touched, cuddled, and treasured for years to come. With bobbles and ridges galore it is sure to be a tactile delight for the little ones, but even the adults can't help but reach out and explore this blanket with their hands. This is a beautiful, simple pattern, perfect for an advanced beginner wanting to learn some new stitches or for an experienced crocheter looking for a not-too-complicated pretty project. Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
Materials Needed:
9 skeins of Knit Picks Comfy Sport in Ivory or approximately 1,100 yards of sport weight yarn. Size Fhook Yarn needle to weave in ends Gauge: Gauge is not critical for this item. Finished Dimensions: 29" wide by 35" long after blocking Notes: Blocking is highly recommended. Not only will it help your blanket retain it's shape, but it will help pull open the treble crochet stitches. When working the first round of the border, don't worry about perfection. The most important part is placing your stitches consistently and keeping both long edges even. You can change the width of the blanket by adding (or decreasing) by a multiple of 4.
