Squishy
A Baby Blanket A soft, squishy baby blanket any Mother-to-be will love. This blanket is easily customizable and the pattern is quickly memorized. Great for a beginner, this blanket is simplicity itself with no border and only single and double crochet stitches. Pattern includes small and large blankets, using either one or two skeins of Lion Brand Pound of Love. Note: small size instructions are currently in testing phase.
You will need: Size H crochet hook (Gauge not important) About 1020 yards worsted weight yarn (for small) or 2040 yards (for large).I used Lion Brand Pound of Love. Tapestry needle to weave in ends Pattern: For small size, chain 120. For large size, chain 170 Beginning row: Skip first chain. In following chain, sc and dc. \*skip one chain. In next chain sc and dc\*. Repeat from \* to end of row. Repeat Row: chain 1, \*skip first stitch, sc and dc in next stitch, Repeat from \* to end of row. Repeat this row till all the yarn is used up. Weave in ends.
