Place the rest of sts. onto two longer needle. Knit _up to almost middle of nail, (on sample gloves the 20th row). Decrease for fingertip so that every three needle has 4 sts., next row to have 3 sts on every three needle, then 2 sts on three needle. Take crochet hook and close all 6 stitches tightly and hide loose end. Before starting next fingers take the rest of sts. on 3 needle plus create 4 new stitches OUT from the 4 side stitches of little finger. It is now $20{+}4{+}18$ sts on three needle. Knit 3 rows. (because the rest three fingers placing higher) Knit the ring, middle and index finger the same way as little finger, by measuring for the perfect finger length of your hand. Thumb: Place 3 held sts $^+$ pick up 9 sts on three needles and knit the thumb to best length, decrease stitches.
FINISHING:
Weave in loose ends. Wash gloves and either place under towel for block or depending on yarn, the wool gloves look best after drying and little steaming.
