Materials: Size 5 U.S. (3.75 mm) needles
Yarn:
1 hank Pagewood Farm Denali (8o% Merino wool, 20% Nylon, 450 yards), shown in Pretty Pastels. You will need approximately 450 yards of a fingering weight yarn for this pattern.
Gauge:
Gauge is not important in this scarf, if you are a tight knitter use one needle size larger. Note: If you would like a thinner or wider scarf simply cast on a multiple of 6 + 7 sts and follow the sam pattern instructions.
Pattern Instructions:
Using the cable cast on method co 37 sts. Row 1: K2tog, yo, \*k3, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo; repeat from \* to last 5 sts, k3, yo, ssk. Row 2: Purl. Repeat rows 1-2 until piece measures approximately 6o" or until desired length. Bind off all sts.
Finishing:
