Stitched Scream Queen
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! If you're going to scream on the Silver Screen you might as well do it properly, and minuscule handmade maiden the Stitched Scream Queen is the little lady to do it.

Materials
Yarn: · Small amount Pink 4-ply acrylic (skin) · Small amount White 4-ply acrylic (dress) · 2.75mm double-pointed needles or circular needle for magic loop · Small amount Yellow embroidery thread (hair) · Small amount of black felt for mouth · 2x black seed beeds for eyes · Black thread and needle · Tiny amount of stuffing (or you could use yarn ends)
Size
Hold in your hand size or 18cm (7") wide approx.

Abbreviations
K = knit P = purl Sts = stitches St st = stocking stitch
Pattern
The Stitched Scream Queen is made in two parts, head and body, with the dress made separately and sewn on. There is no increase or decrease. The shape is all in the sewing.
Head
1.Cast on 8 sts in Pink yarn 2.Knit 6 rows in st st 3. Cut yarn leaving 8cm tail, thread through sts, pull tight and sew up along edge to the other end to make ball shape for body leaving a small gap at end. 4.Stuff through gap
Body
1. Cast on 7 sts in Pink yarn. 2. Knit 8 rows in st st. 3. Cut yarn, thread through sts, pull tight and sew in end 4. Sew up along edge to the other end to make short sausage shape for body leaving a small gap at end. 5. Stuff through gap 6. Sew up gap and darn in yarn end.
Arms (make two)
1. Pick up 1 st at shoulder 2. Knit 7 rows as i-cord 3. Cut yarn leaving 8cm tail and thread through st 4. Sew through the end 6 times and knot to make hand.
Legs (make two)
1. Pick up 1 st at hips 2. Knit 8 rows as i-cord 3. Cut yarn leaving 8cm tail and thread through st 4. Sew through the end 6 times and knot to make hand.
Dress

1. Cast on 10 sts in White yarn 2. Knit 10 rows in garter st 3. Cast off
Finishing
1. Sew head onto body. 2. Sew together long sides of dress to form dress in a tube around body. 3. Use white yarn to sew over each shoulder to make straps for dress. 4. Cut shape for screaming mouth and sew onto face. 5. Sew on seed beads for eyes 6. Sacrifice to Angry Ape. The Gods will be pleased with you.
