They were created to bring some feminine elegance to any occasion. NOTES: This advanced beginner sleeve pattern is worked from the cuff to the elbow in the round. Please read through entire directions before starting. This pattern is written using the magic loop or 2-circular method, where half the stitches are on Needle 1 (N1), and the other half are on Needle 2 (N2). You can easily divide these stitches again for double pointed needles. Special technique: Cable Cast-on: Place a slip knot on the left hand needle. Knit one stitch by inserting the right hand needle into the slip knot (as if to knit), wrap and pull through, just like a regular knit stitch. Place the newly created stitch back onto the left hand needle. There are two stitches on the left hand needle. \*Now insert the needle in the space between the two stitches, wrap and bring through. Transfer the newly created stitch onto the left hand needle. Repeat from \* until the desired number of stitches are on the left needle.
