Basic Crochet Knowledge required to complete this project! \* Please read entire pattern before beginning \* Skill Level - Easy \* Finished Size - About 20" long and about 3 1/2" wide (as shown above) \* Supplies - Red Heart Unforgettable (your choice of color) or any 3 ply yarn. Steele Crochet Hook - Size H Buttons to Preference Sewing Thread Sewing Needle to sew on buttons

ch - chain sc - single crochet hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet sp - space
\* Pattern Notes:
Ch 2 at the start of each row counts as 1st dc throughout the pattern You can make your collar as long as you need by adding a larger chain. You must increase your beginning chain by 5 for each inch. You can also decrease your collar by decreasing your beginning chain by 5 for each inch. You can make your collar wider by continuing the pattern for as many rows as you choose.

ch 81 Row 1 - sc in 2d ch from hook and in each ch sp across (80 sc) Row 2 - ch 4 turn - dc in the 4" sc from hook - ch 4 skip next 4 sc - dc in next sc - repeat until you have completed 20 ch 4 spaces Row 3 - ch 1 turn - sc, hdc, dc, dc, dc, ch 2, dc, dc, dc, hdc, sc in the ch 4 sp from row 2 this is your starting petal. Repeat in each ch 4 space. (20 petals) Row 4 - ch 2 turn (remember these count as 1s dc) - dc in next 3 stitches - \*2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch 2 sp from row 3 - dc in next 4 stitches - sc - dc in next 4 stitches \*- continue pattern until you have completed 20 full petals. Row 5 - ch 2 turn - dc in next 5 stitches -\* 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch 2 space from row 4 - dc in the next 6 stitches - sc in next stitch - dc in next 6 stitches \*- continue pattern until you have completed 20 full petals. Row 6 - ch 2 turn - dc in next 7 dc - \*2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in chain 2 space from row 5 - dc in next 8 dc stitches - sc in next stitch - dc in next 8 stitches \*- continue pattrn until you have completed 20 full petals.
This completes the pattern as shown
t this point you can add additional rows by continuing the pattern or finish off
\* Finishing:
Add a button to your collar by sewing it to the sc row in the start of your collar. You could also use fasteners to keep it a little more secure.
