We have discovered that in California, this is not only a "high" elevation, but it is colder and gets more snow than our old house in Colorado. Armed against winter with a full woodshed and a toasty fire, My feet are still cold. So what better than super thick warm socks? "Top Spot" is the name of a local, actually the ONLY place in town to get a hot cup of coffee on a cold day. I love this new and quiet little community in which we live. Armed with these socks, we hope for many more winters in our Top Spot. -Heatherly
