I am "jetom" on Ravelry and have been knitting off and on since learning to knit back in junior high school. Yes! They taught knitting as well as sewing and cooking back in the early 1970s in junior high schools in Minnesota where I am from originally. This is the first pattern I've ever written down. It is actually more of an improvisation based on several patterns I experimented with. The resulting legwarmers turned out lacy and stretchy enough, while being practical and hard-wearing. I have cold calves all the time! 1 hope you enjoy it. Please contact me with any questions or problems. I will try to help.
