Now if you want a piece that you can wear multiple way... this is it! The size and stitch pattern used forthis scarflette makes you able to wear it $\mathsf{U p},$ down, or anywhere in the middle...
Material:
\* One skein of Malabrigo Chunky yarn, in the color of your choice. $\star_{3}\,\mathsf{o r}_{4}$ medium sizebuttons(around 1").
Size:
$26^{\prime\prime}$ long, $7^{\prime\prime}$ wide before blocking.
Gauge:
$24\,5t=4^{\prime\prime}$ Needle: Size 13US

Directions:
CO 31 stitches, or any number of stitches that is a multiple of $3+1$ Row 1 (RS): Knit. Row 2: \*P3tog without sliding them offthe needle; wrap your yarn once on the right side needle, then P3tog again; slide allstitches off the needle\* to last stitch, then p1. Row 3: Knit. Row 4: P2, \*p3tog without sliding them off the needle; wrap your yarn once on the right side needle, then P3tog again; slide allstitches off the needle\* to last 2 stitches, p2.Row 5: Knit. Row 6: P1, \*p3tog without sliding them offthe needle; wrap your yarn once onthe riqht side needle, then Patoq aqain; slide all stitches off the needle\* to end. Repeat these 6 rows until you reach almost the end of your skein, or until desired lenght. Bind off. Attach your buttons at one end of the scarflette. No need to make button holes as you can easily slip a medium size button between the stitches.
