Pattern : Super-Easy Large Cowl
What do you need :
For the single cowl : 3 skeins of Rico Big (1 skein = 50 gram = 48 meters) + a bit extra in another color for the brim. For the double cowl : 5 skeins of Rico Big + 0.5 skein for the brim. Crochet hook 8 or 9 mm (l used 9 mm ,but I crochet rather tightly) Tapestry needle to weave in all ends.
Pattern :
For the double cowl : chain 108. For the single cowl : chain 54. Make a circle of the chains : connect the last made chain with the first chain by slst. in the first chain, make sure not to twist the chain. Try if the chain fits well around your head. (single 0 double) Round 1 : Do not turn. Just continu. Chain 1 and sc in every chain. (also in the first chain). Close round with slst. in first sc. Chain 3 and turn. Round 2 : 2 dc in first sc, skip 2 sc, (in next sc : 3 dc, skip 2 sc), repeat () until end of round. Close round with slst. in 3th chain. Chain 1 and turn. Round 3 : slst. in first opening between the dc bundles, in that same opening : ch3 + 2dc, in every next opening : 3 dc until end of round .Close round with slst. in 3th chain. Chain 1 and turn. Repeat round 3 for as long as you want. Final round in this color : 1sc in every dc. Close round with slst. in first sc. (Do the closure already with the color choosen for the brim) Chain 1 and turn. Brim : Color 2 : 1 sc in every sc. Close round with slst. in first sc. Cut yarn and fasten off. Brim at bottom of your work : as first brim. Weave in all ends. Finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
