Pattern : autumn cowl

Info :
1. This is a pattern for a X-large supersoft and warm autumn wintercowl. 2. Yarn : I used Rico merino soft aran, 2 strands together. (6 skeins) (1 skein = 50 gram = 100 meter), 2 skeins of each colour, 3 different colours. 3.Crochet hook : 9 mm. 4. Used stitches : chains, slipstitch (slst), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc). 5. Pattern : round 1 : (1sc, 1 dc) repeat (). Round 2 : sc above dc previous row, dc above sc previous row. 6. Gauge : not that important. My gauge was : 9 stitches & 9 rows in pattern = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches) 7. Measurements of the finished cowl : 76 cm width, 35 cm high.

Pattern :
1. Round 1 : Chain 114. Close round with slst. (make sure chain is not twisted) (or choose any other number of chains that can be divided by 2!!!) Chain 1, 1 sc in first chain, 1 dc in next chain, (1 sc in next chain, 1 dc in next chain). Repeat () until end of round. End with dc and close round with slst. in first sc. Turn. 2. Round 2 : Chain 3 (counts as first dc), 1 sc in next stitch, (1 dc in next stitch, 1 sc in next stitch). Repeat () until end of round and end with sc. Close round with slst. in 3th chain. Turn. 3. Round 3 : ch1 and 1sc in first stitch, 1dc in next stitch, (1sc in next stitch, 1dc in next stitch), repeat () until end of round, close round with slst. in first sc, turn. 4. Round 4 : Chain 3 (counts as first dc), 1 sc in next stitch, (1 dc in next stitch, 1 sc in next stitch). Repeat () until end of round and end with sc. Close round with slst. in 3th chain. Turn. 5. Round 5- ... : Keep repeating row 3 and 4. Make sure you always alternate 1 sc and 1 dc. (1sc above dc previous round and 1 dc above sc previous round) I choose to change colour every 6 rows. 6. Cut yarn and weave in ends. 7. Ready!!!!!! Enjoy your great warm and soft wintercowl!!!!!!
