BERET
RIBBING
Using smaller needles 2 US(2.75 mm) cast on 128 stitches using long tail method. Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 1 inch, knit next row (ws) increasing 16 stitches to 144 stitches. Switch to larger needles 6 US (4 mm) and begin body of hat. Row 1 - (rs) purl Row 2 - (ws) knit Row 3 - \*ssk, yo, k1, yo, k4, k2tog; repeat from \* to end Row 4 - Purl Row 5 - \*ssk, [k1, yo] twice, k3, k2tog; repeat from \* to end Row 6 - Purl Row 7 - \*ssk, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, k2tog; repeat from \* to end Row 8 - Purl Row 9 - \*ssk, k3 [yo, k1] twice, k2tog; repeat from \* to end Row 10 - Purl Row 11 - \*ssk, k4, yo, k1, yo, k2tog; repeat from \* to end Row 12 - Purl Repeat rows 1 - 12 Four times, Five for a super slouchy beret

INTERMEDIATE SUPER FINE Suggested Yarn: 1 skien KnitPicks Stroll Tonal, 462 yards/100grams Needles: 2 US (2.75 mm); circular needle, minimum 24" 6 US(4 mm) straight or circular Notions: Tapestry Needle Gauge: 7 sts= 1" on smaller needles in stockinette DECREASEROWS Row 1 - \*k2tog; repeat to end Row 2 - Purl Row 3 - \*k2tog, repeat to end Row 4 - Purl Row 5 - \*k2tog, repeat to end Row 6 - Purl Row 7 - \*k2tog, repeat to end FINISHING Cut long tail - pull through remaining stitches, sew up seam. Block by dampening beret and placing over 10" dinner plate, allow to dry.
FINGERLESS GLOVES

Instructions are in an easy to follow chart form. Stitch Guide kknit Ppurl k2tog knit 2 sts together yo yarn over ssk slip, slip, knit MMake 1 CUFF Using smaller needle cast on 52 stitches, join in round using the Magic Loop method, being careful not to twist andwork in K2, P2 for 1 1/2 inches.

BODY OF GLOVE
Stitches are divided into 2 equal groups of 26. Front of glove is worked as charted, back (palm side) 26 stitches are worked in stockinette. Once chart is complete start top edge of glove as written below.
TOPEDGE OF GLOVE
Option 1: Picot Edge Knit 8 rounds Next round: k1, \*yo, k2tog, repeat from \* to end, k1 Knit 8 rounds Cast off all stitches leaving long tail to sew down picot edge after blocking. Option 2 - close fitting rib (shown) Work in K1, P1 rib for 1 inch, bind off in pattern.
FINISHING
Weave in all ends. lock glove paying special attention to properly blocking picot edge. Fold over picot edge and sew into place.
