Yarn: 2 balls Multikido from Lovegarn, color 88 Gauge: 24st \* 27r in $4^{\prime\prime}$ stockinette on 4mm needles with 3 strands. Stitch guide: $\mathsf{M}\,\mathsf{1}\,=$ increaseastictch K2tog $=$ knit 2 together K3to $\mathsf{M}=\mathsf{h}$ Knit 3 together P3tog $=$ Purl 3 together NOTE! The beret is knit with 3 strands of yarn hold together. Pattern: CO 98 st loosely and knit k2, p2 rib for 5 rows. Continue in stockinette as follows: 1 increase round (RS): $\ast_{\mathsf{k4}}$ $\mathsf{M1^{*}}$ repeat until 2 st left, k2. 3 rows stockinette. 1 increase round (RS): $\ast_{\mathsf{k4}}$ $\mathsf{M1^{*}}$ repeat. Knit until work is as high as your hand (approx 7"). Decrease from Rs: R1: k2tog, k11, k3tog \*k12, k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R2:P: R3: \*k10, k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R4: p. R5: $\ast_{\mathsf{k8}}$ , k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R6: p R7: \*k6, k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R8: p R9: \*k4, k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R10: p R11: \*k2, k3tog\*, repeat until last st, k1. R12: k1, \*p3tog\*, repeat. Break yarn (with enough to sew the back seam).
