the Fascinator

by Ginny Blocher
Cool shimmering accessory inspired by the blue Southern Oracles in the film the Neverending Story. Can be worn many different ways : on the head as a sort of headband or fascinator, around the neck as a collar or necklace, on the shoulders, or any other way that you invent ! It is made from a recycled yarn spun from orphan socks, commissioned for the collection “Fil Reve de Chaussettes"for the Association Chaussettes Orphelines with Marcia de Carvalho in Paris. You can find the yarn and this pattern as a kit for sale on their website. A fun way to learn the crocodile and bobble stitches ! Can be finished in a couple hours.
