WEAVE
Designed By Kathryn McNaughton Even before I dared to attempt to knit them, cables fascinated me. I couldn't puzzle out how anyone could manage to make the stitches move and twist without increases and decreases. When I was finally willing to stick my toes into the cabling waters, I kept it simple with regularly crossing, ropey cables. But then I realized that when you break up even complicated looking cables, they are made of the same, simple crossing. cables that I'd learned from the start. These easy woven cable mitts provide a perfect opportunity to whet your appetite for a slightly more involved cabled project. However, they're still short and sweet and work up very quickly.
