COLDEST SUMMER SHAWL

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." SF is a mild 50 to 60°F most of the year. Locals pack a jacket even if it's currently sunny. A shawl is also handy to keep you warm when Karl the Fog comesby. This shawl shows off a luxurious merino/silk blend with simple stockinette and a geometric eyelet lace border. It's an easy introduction for first time lace knitting or a quick project city commute. The pattern repeat of the shawl is both written and charted. Directions are also given for a bandana/shawlette version. Pattern by Sharon Kresge jomiel on Ravelry
