Supplies Needed:
1 6oz skein of Caron Simply Soft or any other light worsted weight yarn 1 (5.5 mm) Hook (H for edging) Tapestry Needle Scissors Gauge: Gauge is unimportant, but you want your rows to be approximately 6 inches across.

Begin by Chaining 27.
Row 1: 5 dc in the sixth ch from the hook, sk next 2 chs, dc in next, \*skip next 2 chs, 5 dc in next, skip next 2 chs, dc in next\*, repeat from \* to \* across. Row 2: Ch 3 and turn, \*5 dc in middle dc of the shell below, sk 2 dc, dc in next dc,\* repeat from \* to \* across, ending with a dc in the last st, which is the ch from the row below. Repeat Row 2 until your piece measures 60 inches, unstretched. At this point you will sc your short edges together. This will attach the short sides to make an unending piece. DO NOT cut yarn. You will be able to work this piece and only have four ends to work in! One of the many things I love about this scarf! @
Edging
For a ruffled look edge, continue with your I hook, or whichever you used for the body of the scarf. For a flat edge like pictured, go down one hook size. I used an H. ? For the edging you will begin to evenly work sc's around the long side of the scarf. Work 2 sc's into each ch space and each dc space. Once you've finished working around, join with a sl st to the first sc of the round. Finish off and weave in ends. Now you will turn your work, and repeat these directions for the opposite side.
CHUNKY ALTERNATE:
To make this scarf in a chunkier version follow all the above directions. Just adjust your hook to the size stated on your chunky/bulky yarn wrapper!
