Mistake Rib Scarf by Phoebe Garrett 2011

I used 4 mm straight needles and 3 x 80g balls of Carnival Soft 8 ply. The scarf is knitted back and forth on straight needles. The rib pattern creates a stretchy fabric. Gauge is not crucial. My gauge is about 7 stitches per inch in the mistake rib pattern, which gives a scarf about 12cm across. C.O. a multiple of 4 + 3, in this case 39 stitches. I used a cable cast-on. Row 1: \*K2, P2\* repeat across the row, ending K2, P1. Every row is the same, so you will not have to count rows. Repeat Row 1 until the scarf is as long as you are tall, or you are about to run out of wool. Cast off and weave in ends.
