Cover Up
Row 1: With I hook and warm brown, ch51, 1sc in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook, 1hdc in next ch, \* 1sc in next ch, 1hdc in next ch \* repeat from \* to \* across. Ch1, turn.(50sts) Rows 2-36: \*1sc in next hdc, 1hdc in next sc, \* repeat from \* to \* across. Ch1, turn. End of row 36 do not fasten off but continue onto border trim.
BORDER TRIM
Rnd 1: With warm brown and I hook, 1sc in each ends of rows and in each st around entire cover up. Making sure to work 3sc in each corner st. slst to join . Fasten off and tie in ends.
BEAR FACES make 2
Rnd 1: With warm brown and $\boldsymbol{\Theta}$ hook, ch4, slst to beg ch to join and form a circle. Ch1, 2sc in same st as joining, 2sc in each of the next 3ch.. Do not join, but continue in a spiral fashion, using a place marker if desired. (8sc) Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around. (16sc) Rnd 3: \*1sc in next sc, 2sc in next sc \* repeat from \* to \* around. (24sc) Rnd 4: 1sc in each sc around. (24sc) Rnd 5: 2sc in next sc,(1sc, 1hdc,3dc,1hdc,1sc) all in next sc( $1^{s\dagger}$ ear), 2sc in each of the next 4sc, (1sc,hdc,3hdc,1hdc,1sc) all in next sc ( $2^{n d}$ ear), 2sc in each of the next 17sc. Rnd 6: 1sc in each sc around and when you get to the ears, 1sc in behind each ear. Fasten off and tie in ends. Embroider eyes on bears as shown in pictures
STRAP
Row 1: with warm brown and I hook, ch7, 1sc in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook, 1hdc in next ch, \* Isc in next ch, ihdc in next ch \* repeat from \* to \* across. Ch1,turn (6sc) Rows 2-30: \*1sc in next hdc, 1hdc in next sc \* repeat from \* to \* across. Ch1, turn. End of row 30 fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Attach faces to strap. Then sew buttons onto cover up where desired. Push bear faces over the buttons that you sewed on the cover up. Tie in all ends you can sell any items that you make from using my patterns, but you are responsible for your finished items.
