Rnd 1: With F hook and flower color ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Slst to join. Ch1. (6sc) Rnd 2: (sc,hdc,dc,hdc,sc) in same st as joining. (Sc,hdc,dc,hdc,sc) all in the next sc, repeat between parentheses 4more times. Slst to join. Ch4. (6petals) Rnd 3: pull petals forward and 1sc in the back and between the $1\mathfrak{s t}$ and 2nd petals, \*ch4, 1sc in between $z^{n d}$ and $3^{r d}$ petal,\* repeat from \* to \* around. Ch1. (6 -ch 4loops ) fasten off and attach green in any ch4 loop. Rnd 4: (sc,hdc,3dc,hdc,sc) work these in all the ch 4 loops. Slst to join. Ch4. Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew with.
FLOWER CENTER
Rnd 1: With pink and F hook, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join. (6sc) Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around. (12sc) Rnd 3: 1sc in each sc around. (12sc) Rnd 4: (dec next 2sc tog) repeat 5 more times. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew with. Attach this pink center to center of flower. Attach flower to beanie. Tie in all ends Note: If you want to run a ribbon thru the hat, you can omit the last rnd of the shells and instead of working sc's in each of the dc, you can work 1dc in each dc, skipping the ch2sp or work 1treble in each dc, skipping the ch2sp this will give you a nice place to run your ribbon thru and depending on the width of your ribbon determines which stitch you might want to use.
