Moss stitch chunky cowl
This pattern will give you a super chunky bulky cowl, perfect for the winter. I made this for myself a while back and only got compliments on the cowl so when I joined Ravelry I decided to share the pattern with you. It is an easy round knit, perfect for beginners of just in between your complex patterns while watching Tv. The pattern is loosely based on an existing pattern from Scheepjes. Materials needed
Adult 80cm (Gauge 6-7S/10R) - 12mm round needles, Us 17 (is 12.75mm, but will do I guess) - 4 skeins of Scheepjes Peru (Ecru). Or any other chunky wool you like. -stitchmarker Small teen (9-12) 65cm (Gauge 6-7S/10R) - 12mm round needles, US 17 (is 12.75mm, but will do I guess) - 2 skeins of Drops Polaris (colour 06 red) - stitch marker Large teen (12-14) 70cm (Gauge 8-9s/14R) - 10mm round needles, Us 15 needles - 4 skeins Lana Grossa Mille Il (colour 052) - stitch marker

K = knit P = Purl BO = bind off
Pattern
Adult Wind 2 skeins together to one double thread skein. Set up 53 stitches, put your stitch marker on the round needle to mark your beginning. Make the close. Row 1: K1, P1 Row 2: P1, K1 Repeat R1 and R2 until both skeins are almost finished then BO loosely. This will give you a height of 38cm. Smallteen Set up 42 stitches put your stitch marker on the round needle to mark your beginning. Make the close. Row 1: K1, P1 Row 2: P1, K1 Repeat R1 and R2 until both skeins are almost finished then BO loosely. This will give you a height of 19cm. Largeteen Wind 2 skeins together to one double thread skein. Set up 67 stitches put your stitch marker on the round needle to mark your beginning. Make the close. Row 1: K1, P1 Row 2: P1, K1 Repeat R1 and R2 until both skeins are almost finished then BO loosely. This will give you a height of 21.5 cm.
