Frizzy Hair on a Sunny Day Easy Peasy Baby Doll or ufed amimaBlanky
This is a super easy pattern I wrote for my 8-year-old daughter. She had just started knitting and was needing to practice her "knit" only stitches, but she was bored with the same ol', same ol' knit stitch pattern with which she was left when finished. By still incorporating the practice for “knit" stitches only, it allowed us to continue practicing, learn a couple of new stitches and set small goals that eventually added up to completing a larger one. The design is easy enough for a beginner and yet still pretty enough for the expert. It's a quick knit and easy to make larger if you want, but make sure to always cast on an odd numer of stiches and remember each set (K2tog, M1, K1) takes three stitches. Gauge is set by your choice of yarn and needle size if you choose to change it up. Have fun with it!
