Hat circumference 46 (50) cm,fitting head circumference 48 - 52 cm / 19 - 20,5 inches (child, teenager) and 52-56 cm $/20,\!5-22$ inches (teenager/adult), height 22 cm $/\,8\,2/3$ inches. Yarn suggestrion: Juvel or pt4 (sport weight) Colours: Red, white, green. Needlse: Circular needles 3, 3.5 og 4 mm, dpn's 4 (or needles to give right tension). CO 96 (104) sts on smaller needles with green yarn. Join in the round and work in stockniett stich for 8 rounds $\left(=\mathsf{h e m}\right)$ . P1 roung (for folding). Work with red and white yarn according to chart B. The darker squares are worked only for size medium. Decrease according to chart. (Green decreases apply only to size medium, red decreases to size small, and black decreases to both sizes.) Finishing: Move the rem sts onto to dpns, ie 25 (27) on each needle. Graft together using kitchener stitch. Fold hem and sew up.
