Gauge: on size 8 needles, 14st x 20rows = 4" x 4", in 2x2 rib Materials: One 16" size 8 US circular needle and One 16" size 11 US circular needle One set size 10 or 11 double pointed needles 200 yards worsted weight cotton yarn such as Bernat Handicrafter Cotton or Lily Sugar 'N Cream Scissors, one stitch marker, and yarn needle

Instructions
Begin: cast on 72 stitches on size 8 needle, join ing to knit in the round, and placing marker to mark the end of row Row 1-8: \*k2, p2\* Row 9: change to size 11 needle, knit each stitch around Begin Mesh pattern: Row 10: knit all the way around Row 11: \*k2togtbl, yo\* repeat all the way around Row 12: knit all the way around Row 13: \*yo, k2togtbl\* repeat all the way around Repeat rows 10-13 four more times for a beanie, and 6 or more times for a slouchier beret style hat.
