SUPPLIES
Yarn: 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) hanks Superfine 400 3055StrawberryJam
Needles:
Two long circular needles sized to get gauge. Double pointed needles (set of 4 or 5) in the same size.
Other stuff:
Waste yarn or another extra circular needle to hold sts 51/2 sts = 1'" in Stockinette.
GAUGE
Suggested needle size: US 4 or 5 (3.5 to 3.75 mm). Please note: Correct gauge is important but needle size is not. Change your needle size if necessary - It doesn't matter what size needle you use to get correct gauge.
RIGHT HALF
Bottom front and side: Cast on 133 (138, 144, 152, 163) sts. Work in Stockinette for 15 (15, 15, 1512, 16)", ending with a WS row. Separate front from back (RS): Knit across 50 (55, 61, 66, 75) front sts and slip remaining 83 (83, 83, 86, 88) back sts to second needle. Front: Work even in Stockinette on 50 (55, 61, 66, 75) sts for 71/2 (8, 81/2, 81/2, 9)", ending with a WS row. Bind off all sts. Back: Cast on 42 (44, 47, 47, 50) sts. K 42 (44, 47, 47, 50) sts then with RS facing, k83 (83, 83, 86, 88) back sts from second needle - 125 (127, 130, 133, 138) sts. Work even in Stockinette for 71/2 (8, 9, 10, 11)". Slip sts to waste yarn or extra needle.
LEFT HALF
Bottom front and side: Cast on 133 (138, 144, 152, 163) sts. Work in Stockinette for 15 (15, 15, 1512, 16)", ending with a RS row. Separate front from back (WS): Purl across 50 (55, 61, 66, 75) front sts and slip remaining 83 (83, 83, 86, 88) back sts to second needle. ASSEMBLEBODY
Center back join:
Holding RS together, work Three Needle Bind-off as follows: With the RS of back pieces held together (to form ridge on inside of garment), hold the needles parallel. With a third needle knit the first st of front and back needles together, \*knit next st from each needle together, (2 sts on right hand needle), bind off 1 st; rep from \* until all sts are bound off. Alternate options: Work Kitchener stitch or bind off all sts and sew together Shoulder seams: Sew back to front at shoulders 41/2 (5, 6, 61/2, 71/2)" in from edges leaving a back neck opening of 6 (6, 6, 7, 7)".
SLEEVES
With double pointed needles and RS facing, begin at underarm and pick up and knit 41 (44, 46, 46, 49) sts t0 shoulder seam then 41 (44, 46, 46, 49) sts back to underarm - 82 (88, 92, 92, 98) sts. Join to work in the round. Work in Stockinette until sleeve measures 16" or desired length. Bind off all sts loosely.
