forming a circle, Rnd 1: (sc on 9 chs, 2 sc on the next ch) twice (22 sc) Rnd 2: Hdc on each sc (22 hdc) Rnd 3: (dc on 10 hdc, 2 dc on the next hdc) twice (24 dc) Rnd 4: (dc on 11 dc, 2 dc on the next dc) twice (26 dc) Rnd 5: Dc on each dc around Rnd 6 onwards: Continue in dc around until about 2 yds of thread remain. Next rnd: (hdc tog the next two dc, hdc on the next 11 dc) twice (24 hdc) Last rnd: (sc tog the next two hdc, sc on the next 10 hdc) twice (22 sc) Ss on the next st, finish off. Sew the end flat. Position the buckle on the other end, fold by about $^{1\!}/2$ inch, and sew to close.
